Why the World Needs Real Men and that Man is YOU!
The world has three kinds of males: boys, real men, and boys who can shave: a physical man who still behaves like a boy. The term “boys who can shave” I heard the first time from Matt Chandler, as he quoted the term from Mark Driscoll.
One large reason for broken homes, broken marriages, broken communities and broken businesses is because they are being “led” by boys who can shave. Physical men who are called to be men and lead a family, their children, their business and their community are not showing up to do so. They are posing, faking, and ruining the lives of those they are called as men to serve and care for.
This continues to happen for two reasons: First, these boys who can shave never had an example of a real man in their life and consequently have no idea what it means to be a real man. Second, they know what it takes to be a real man, and have decided it is too hard and/or too scary to DECIDE to step up and fight to be a real man.
When either of the two happen, lives get ruined. The world needs real men willing to show both boys and boys who can shave, what it means to be a real man.
