Reflecting on the Hike of a Lifetime on the Camino de Santiago

I just returned from facilitating the Hike of a Lifetime on the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Our group was comprised of seven men, all business owners or business leaders that were looking to unplug and disconnect, so they can recenter and refocus on what’s important in their life, family and business. This experience has been a dream of mine for a number of years, and I am happy to say that the hike went phenomenally and was life changing for all in many ways.

Heading into the experience, I was super excited to lead these men through the physical journey of hiking 72 miles over 6 days, along with the leadership exercises and discussions I had prepared for them. As much as I was excited, I was also nervous about how it would all go. The vision I had for these men in the group is that the experience would be life changing and deeply impactful for them in many ways.

As I am sitting here recapping the experience, listening to the feedback from the participants, and reflecting on the experiences we had together, I am in awe of how we were all able to accomplish our goals together.
