Matt Shoup recently marked a top item off his bucket list.
Just last week, the 30-year-old Loveland resident and owner of M&E Painting dotted the final i’s on the last page of his first book: “Become an Award-Winning Company.”
And true to its title, the book outlines seven “simple” steps to becoming a successful entrepreneur who leverages awards to boost business and builds credibility in any community.
“People ask, ‘What’s the best return on investment?” Shoup said, sitting in a high-backed black chair in his north Loveland office. Dozens of framed awards touting M&E Painting as a customer-friendly business, top small workplace and one of America’s fastest-growing private companies dotted the tan walls behind him.
